Hi everyone. Foster here and it is with great delight and relief that I’m representing the whole Thrive team today in announcing to the world that starting in just a few days, on April 5, 2012, our film, “THRIVE: What On Earth Will It Take?”, will be available for free at thrivemovement.com. Lots of people (as you may know) have been clamoring for THRIVE to be available for free on the Internet since its launch last November. Well, we heard you.
What influenced us wasn’t that some people just didn’t want to pay for it, but that so many felt (as we ourselves do) that it’s simply critical for this information to get out all over the world as quickly as possible. Our sense of urgency at this critical moment is only growing. Frankly, it’s been excruciating for us to spend any time with a pay wall blocking the widest possible spread of THRIVE, but we needed to pay for the film and for the staff and the activities of Thrive Movement. Now, we find ourselves in a fortunate win/win situation and the key has been you. Thanks to your enthusiastic buying of the DVD, sharing the film with your communities, and donating to the Movement, it seems that our endeavor can Thrive and still have the movie on the Internet for free. We’re counting on your continuing support moving forward.
Recently, I’m happy to report, people have volunteered to subtitle THRIVE in five more languages: Greek, Portuguese, Hindi, Urdu, and Hebrew (in addition to the ten that we already have) so we can reach hundreds of millions more. As I speak, our team is finishing the technical changes that we need to make Thrive available for free on our website, which is really the ideal place on the Net to see it because of all the other support materials that we make available there. So, prepare your networks and on Thursday, April 5th, please join us in spreading the important message of THRIVE for free all over our beloved planet.
And remember: be informed, be non-violent, and be relentless. Bye for now.
